| There’s
GOOD NEWS and BAD NEWS about the Internet.
|
| The
GOOD NEWS is that there are dozens of easy-to-use programs
that allow just about everyone to use preformatted templates to “design”
their own website and post it to the Internet. |
| The
BAD NEWS is that just about everyone is doing just
that, from marketing firms who are stuck in the print world and are
inexperienced with the peculiarities of Internet browsers to someone’s
ten-year-old nephew. |
| The
RESULTS are readily apparent if you’ve done much
browsing recently – websites that look like everyone else’s,
with no viable edge over their competition. |
| Just
as purchasing the best bow and arrows available is no promise of hitting
a bull’s-eye (or even the edge of the target), neither does the
use of website software guarantee that a visitor to your company’s
website will pause for more than a few seconds before moving on to
the more appealing and functional site of your competitor. |
| Be honest
- how many times you have done just that when searching the Internet
for a particular topic? And how many times did you bother to go back
to that site you just skipped? |
| When
we design or redesign a website, we don’t use templates, we listen
to you and design a site specific to your needs, and we look at the
Internet presence of your competition to get the upper hand for your
company. |
| That's
the REAL GOOD NEWS |
